About me
I’m Izzy. I’m an Eco-Arts Psychotherapist, artist and workshop facilitator. I’m passionate about using creativity to help people unlearn patterns that no longer serve them, and instead learn to trust in themselves. My approach is person-centred and holistic, inviting the whole body into the therapy and the art making process.
I have over 6 years experience working creatively with adults in various settings including women’s shelters, hospice care and Yoga and Art Therapy workshops. I have witnessed time and time again, the power of art for self-awareness, radical self-love and healing. I now work full time in private practice, and my main areas of interest are overcoming anxiety and releasing shame.
I am a qualified Art Psychotherapist and Ecotherapist. My work is overseen by my clinical supervisor and I am registered with the HCPC (https://www.hcpc-uk.org/standards/standards-of-proficiency/arts-therapists/) and a member of BAAT (https://baat.org).
