FAQs

  • Notice what feeling you get from reading through their website/social media. Do you feel drawn to them? Do you feel welcomed by them? Is their information clear and accessible for you? Most therapists (like me) offer free consultations before you dive in, so this is a great time to get to know them a little better and to ask any questions you have. It’s totally fine if you meet with a therapist and feel like it’s not the right fit. The right therpaist for you is out there!

  • A ‘good fit’ means we connect. If your therapist is a good fit, you will likely feel a sense of warmth and authenticity about them. Although therapy can feel hard at times, it important that you enjoy being in the company of your therapist, that you get on well.

  • I provide safe, supportive spaces for marginalized folks, neurodivergent folks, the LGBTQ2S+ and the BIPOC community.

I am here to nourish your creativity! I believe we are all creative beings, and creativity can look like…anything! So you do not need any artistic skills to work with me.

I bring elements of Eco-therapy into sessions through somatic body work, taking inspiration from the outdoors and nourishing your relationship with the natural world.

  • This depends on you. I often recommend we work together weekly to begin with, in order to build the foundation of our therapeutic relationship. However, I know that life can be busy, so meeting every 2 weeks may work better for you. I am also open to offering monthly sessions for those who find a gentle self-care check-in beneficial.

If we decide to go ahead and work together, after 6 sessions, we’ll review the work we’ve done together so far. This gives us an opportunity to check-in with how the therapy is going, what’s working well or less well, and how we might want to move forwards.

    1. Get in touch with me via email to book a free initial consultation.

    2. Once booked, I’ll send you a short form to fill in so that I can get to know a bit more about you.

    3. At the consultation you can ask me any questions you have about my work, and I may clarify some things so I can better understand your current situation.

    4. After the consultation, if we both feel we are a good fit to work together, we’ll chat by email to schedule our first session.

  • Anything! I recommend using what you already have in your home, at least to begin with. If you don’t won any ‘art materials’ then a simple pen and paper will be enough, or some old magazines, birthday cards, wrapping paper, recycling - anything that you can cut up and turn into something else will work!

  • I’m currently based in Northern Spain, so I offer online sessions via zoom or email. I provide in-person sessions outdoors in Gijon, Spain.
